Mini update for a future remake

Hi! It's been a while since I last said anything on this page!

I've noticed that every now and then, this game gets the odd download even now and that makes me very happy! I'm glad people are still interested in this game despite it being over half a year old (oh wow, it's really been that long?).

So, I thought I might hop in and mention a few things about AVIS., which I've kinda been keeping to myself as I sort through my various other projects:

When I dreamed this game up, it was more of a silly little thing to tide me over until I got to the actual game it precedes. However, I soon accidentally became quite attached to it and decided that when I had the time, I would like to completely revamp it so that there was more to read; more to play; and it could qualify as a proper prequel. I also want to focus more on worldbuilding too! Something the 1k word limit prevented me from doing, as the particular universe AVIS. takes place in is one of my personal favourites in terms of characters and lore.

Right now, I will call this a possible AVIS. Remake, mostly because I have other projects (like a book I am currently writing and illustrating, as well as coding a unity game to keep my skills up-to-date) and life matters to deal with, but I have drafted up some assets I have in mind for this remake. And, I would like to finish this remake! I'd very much like to make it a reality in some way :>

Right now, I can't give a definitive answer when it will be complete, especially as the aforementioned book is my primary project of the month, but I will certainly consider writing a new dev log when I have more work to share. Oh! and one more thing: the book I'm writing is set in the same universe as AVIS., so if this world is one you find interesting enough to indulge in and you like reading the traditional way, I will at least have more content for it soon!
